What to Know About Tom Ford’s Belt of Power
The Tom Ford belt of power has a new owner: a New York City businessman who is hoping to make it the most valuable American gold belt in the world.
Tom Ford was the namesake of the famous American gold chain chain belt.
The chain belt was sold to him by James D. Ford, a retired businessman, in 1981.
Ford’s current owner is a New Jersey businessman named Robert R. Ritchie, a real estate investor and philanthropist who bought the chain belt in 2011 for $1.2 million.
The chain belt is one of four gold chains that make up the Tom Ford collection.
It is one-third of the total value of the belt, which was created by Ford in the early 1930s.
The other two are the $3.8 million chain belt by James L. Forst and the $7 million chain chain by James J. Forritt.
For the last 40 years, Ford has kept the chain at his home in New Jersey.
It was removed from the house and stored in the vault of the Ford Motor Company in Detroit in 1983.
Ford, who died in 2009, is survived by his wife, Annabella, and three children, Daniel, Dylan and Jack.
Ford is best known for inventing the Ford Bronco and Ford GT, but he also made a fortune off the American automobile industry, selling his shares in the company in 1969.
He sold his stake in Ford in 2011 to his estate for $100 million.
Ford is survived in part by his widow, Annabelle, and their two daughters, Bella and Daisy.
